Probably best known to be a Judge on the reality show "Project Runway", Michael Kors started designing and merchandising for the brand, Lothar's, at the tender age of 19.
Michael Kors was born to a Jewish Model in Long Island, New York on August 9,1959. Today at the age of 51, Kors has a brand under his name, carrying both male and female apparels & accessories.
One of Kors's loyal fans would be America's First Lady, Michelle Obama. She chose to don a Michael Kors LBD for her first official portrait as First Lady. Of course, this was very appropriate for the occasion, with Kors being an established American designer. She continues to be spotted in Kors's apparel for many other events and occasions. Kors has also been spotted on many celebrities at different red carpet events. In addition, he outfitted Rene Russo's character in the 1999 hit remake of The Thomas Crown Affair.
